Not all teachers started off as teachers. And not all Principals started off as Principals. But after 30 years of working with young people, I cannot say how blessed I am to have chosen teaching as my career.

        Being a mother, a teacher and a Principal, I have witnessed time and again how young people could be totally transformed under the impact of a great teacher. Marva Collins, who had melted countless young hearts, simply recalled, "There is no magic here. I do not walk on water. I do not part the sea. I just love children."
