Visit to the Organic Shops at Foodmax, the Fanling Green Produce Organic Farm and the Hok Tau Potted Organic Farm ( S2 Liberal Studies)

In order to learn more about the consumerism of organic foods and products, the method of planting organic produce and have hand-on experience in transplanting the vegetables, the S2 liberal studies team organized two visits on 27th October,2007 to the Foodmax of Kowloon Bay International Exhibition Centre , the Fanling Organic Farm and the Hak Tau Potted Organic Farm respectively. Over 110 students participated and under the guidance and facilitation of teachers, they took their initiative to learn , to talk to the farmers and has a closer look at the organic farms in Hong Kong .
