Visit to Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre |
|||
The Cross-curricular Programme Team organized a visit to Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre during the first term post-exam activity period. 38 S4 and S6 students joined the event. The activity included measurements on the air and sea climates, the visibility and salinity of seawater as well as the observation of the plankton under microscope which helps students to understand the relationship between the physical factors and the marine ecosystem. The visit also included an hour-long coral observation tour in a glass-bottomed boat. The programme greatly enhances students’ learning experience outside classroom and raises their awareness of marine conservation. |
