S1 Liberal Studies – Talk on Thinking Skills
Dr. Jack, C.K.Chan, former Associate Professor and Director of Centre for Education Development of the Baptist University, was invited to give this inspiring talk to the S1 students. Dr. Chan used the example of a chef to show how we can explore new possibilities, gather facts, divide, simmer and assimilate ideas.
Students watched videos and played games during the talk, and through which they experienced the various thinking skills.
How can we think like this chef?
Can you do it? We are using our right hands to write ‘6’ and left legs to write ‘9’ at the same time.
We are investigating our papers because Dr. Chan said there is paper magic.
