Lions International Youth Exchange 2008 Scholarship: Environmental Essay Competition
Our school had nine entrants in total for the captioned essay competition on the topic: ‘Green Life Style’. Three students, Mak Lok Yoong (6S), Tam Chin Wai (6S) and Fung Ching Ki (5B), won a Merit Prize and two students, Ng Yui Wing (6S) and Fong Pak Ling (6S), won a Distinction Prize. Ng Yui Wing was even endorsed as one of the Top 10 and given a full scholarship to Japan to participate in an Overseas Exchange Programme. She attended the Award Presentation Ceremony and made a public presentation on Saturday, 1March 2008.
With her full respect for the ceremony, Ng Yui Wing was dressed decently (like an executive!) at her presentation.
