The Hong Kong Schools English Writing Contest 2008
Congratulations to Janice Ng (4H), Law Lok Yi (4B), and Cheung Wing Yi (4B) who won the Champion, the 1st Runner-up and the 3rd Runner-up respectively for the senior group in the captioned writing contest. The total entry of this year’s contest is over 15000 and our students have done extremely well. All the guests and audience praised and appreciated the excellent work of BPS students. Winners and their parents were invited to attend the Prize Giving Ceremony held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. All three girls’ parents accompanied their daughters to this special occasion and showed genuine support to them. As this writing contest is organized by Australia Education Link and sponsored by the Queensland Government (Hong Kong), the grand prize of the Champion is one free Australia round trip ticket. This ceremony really brought a great harvest to BPS, making a remark on the hard work of our girls. It also gave this academic year a perfect ending!
