S1 Adjustment Programme (2008-2009)

This year our principal, Ms Ho, proposed a new S1 Adjustment Programme to provide the students an opportunity to get to know about their school earlier before the start of the new school year. Thus they wouldn’t find it a totally awesome place to study on the first school day. Basically it was a 5-day programme full of fun activities. For example, there were adventure games held by an outside agency to help students build up team spirits and learn how to handle challenges. They met our school social worker and Big Sisters to do some goal setting tasks and learn some communication skills. Also, they were arranged to attend different courses like dancing, singing, drawing and I.T. learning to help them explore more about their interests. In the hope of getting them to exploit their own talents and further enriching their ability, the school hired instructors and trainers of different learning areas to familiarize them with the subjects. They all agreed it was a fruitful programme!

Students were playing a team-building game, using their feet to build a bridge.

Music teacher, Ms Mak was demonstrating some singing skills to students with her beautiful voice!

One, Two, Three, hands up and stretched our body. Everybody was following the instructor!

Some senior students were teaching the S1 girls how to use Chinese ink to draw bamboos.
